About Us
Genshin Impact Map is a free, fast interactive map of Teyvat made by players for players. It shows 94,000+ locations across all 8 regions and 6 separate realms, works on phones and desktops, and never asks you to create an account.
Why this site exists
Every Genshin Impact player ends up searching for the same things: the last oculus in a region, a chest that the completion percentage says is still missing, or enough local specialties to ascend a new character. The official HoYoLAB map has the data, but it can be slow to open on mobile and hard to share. We built genshinimpactmap.com to answer one question as quickly as possible: where exactly is the thing I am looking for?
The map opens with a pre-rendered image of the view you asked for, so you see the terrain within a second even on a slow phone connection. Pins are drawn on a canvas instead of thousands of separate page elements, which keeps panning and zooming smooth when several categories are switched on at once.
What you can do on the map
- Find anything: search 756 categories, from oculi, chests and waypoints to ores, fish, wood and enemies.
- Read player tips: about a third of the pins carry a note or screenshot from the HoYoLAB community explaining how to reach them or which puzzle unlocks them.
- Track your progress: mark pins as found, hide what you already collected and see how many are left in each category.
- Keep your progress: export it to a file and import it on another device. Nothing is stored on our servers.
- Share a location: copy a link to a single pin and send it to a friend or your co-op group.
- Browse by region or item: every region, realm and collectible has its own page with counts and a focused map.
- Use it in your language: the map and its guides are available in English, Español, 日本語, Français, Deutsch, Português, 한국어, Italiano.
Where the data comes from
Pin positions, category names and icons come from the public data behind the official HoYoLAB interactive map published by HoYoverse. We take a snapshot of that data, compress it and serve it from our own servers. The notes and screenshots shown on pins were written by members of the HoYoLAB community, and every popup that shows one says so. Screenshots are loaded directly from HoYoverse's image servers.
The data on the site was last refreshed on October 27, 2026. We refresh it regularly and after game updates, so new pins from a patch are added once they appear on the official map. When a patch adds new land, the map images are re-downloaded as well.
Accuracy
Before launch we compared every pin on the site with the live official map: 99.99% matched in position and category, and the rest were pins added to the official map after our last snapshot. Mistakes in the source data can still happen. If you find a pin in the wrong place or a missing location, please tell us through the contact page and we will check it.
Who runs the site
genshinimpactmap.com is an independent fan project run by Genshin Impact players. It is free to use and is supported by advertising, which pays for hosting and development.
